Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will ratify the Protocol on Ukraine´s Accession to the WTO by the constitutional majority.
"As soon as the said document is taken to The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and scrutinized by the relevant Committee, it will be ratified", - stated A.Yatseniuk.
However, he did not preclude "certain confrontation, and further conversations concerning negative consequences of Ukraine´s accession to the WTO". "We have been keeping this course for 15 years. It is impossible to pass anything better in the said format, since procrastination leads only to worse results for Ukraine regarding accession to the WTO", - stated A.Yatseniuk.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also reminded that The Party of Regions, "Our Ukraine-People´s Self-Defence", "Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc" Factions "took active part in Ukraine´s accession to the WTO". "Even if the said document is not ratified by the constitutional majority, it will testify inconsistency of certain political forces", - emphasized A.Yatseniuk.
